Roasted Asparagus
Simple but delicious way to prepare fresh asparagus.

- 1 lb asparagus fresh
- olive oil
- black pepper fresh ground
- salt optional
- fresh lemon juice optional
Preheat oven to 400F.
Rinse asparagus well and trim off tough ends. Place on baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, tossing to coat. Arrange asparagus in a single layer on baking sheet and season with pepper and salt if using.
Roast asparagus for 20-25 minutes or until crisp but still tender.
Optional: squeeze some fresh lemon juice and enjoy
