Roasted Asparagus

Simple but delicious way to prepare fresh asparagus.

Materials

  • 1 lb asparagus fresh
  • olive oil
  • black pepper fresh ground
  • salt optional
  • fresh lemon juice optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400F.
  • Rinse asparagus well and trim off tough ends. Place on baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, tossing to coat. Arrange asparagus in a single layer on baking sheet and season with pepper and salt if using.
  • Roast asparagus for 20-25 minutes or until crisp but still tender.
  • Optional: squeeze some fresh lemon juice and enjoy
