Stewed Crock-Pot Okra is an easy way to prepare a tasty and healthy vegetable side dish that has a little kick to it! It is light and tasty... hope you enjoy it!

Materials

  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 1 ½–2 cups fresh okra
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (or 1 tsp of your favorite hot sauce)
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients into Crock-Pot and stir. Cook on low for 2-3 hours or until tender. Stir and season to taste before serving.

Notes

I used a 3.5-quart Crock-Pot.
