Materials
- 1 lb asparagus fresh
- olive oil
- black pepper fresh ground
- salt optional
- fresh lemon juice optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Rinse asparagus well and trim off tough ends. Place on baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, tossing to coat. Arrange asparagus in a single layer on baking sheet and season with pepper and salt if using.
- Roast asparagus for 20-25 minutes or until crisp but still tender.
- Optional: squeeze some fresh lemon juice and enjoy
